What to do for the best?!?!

Right........this may a bit hard to explain, but i will try........

We purchased our car parking pass at the same time as paying for our tickets. We are coming from wales on Thursday AM and camping in Pennards (our friends arriving on weds are pitching our tent for us). I seem to be doing most of the organsing, so I had thought we would come down M5 and head for the west car parks for the trek to pennards.

Now one of the other people coming in my car knows somebody who is bringing a campervan or caravan (unsure of which). When this person purchased their campervan ticket, they also purchased a ticket for a car parking space in the campervan carpark, as another person in their group was travelling in their own car from a different place and meeting them to stay in this campervan.........you still with me?

Well that person has dropped out and the campervan people have offered us this car parking space by their camper van, saying that the campervan parking on the east will be nearer pennards then the other car park we will get into in the west.

I dont know what to do for the best. We will save no money by doing it, i assume it will take us longer to get to the east campervan park. My questions are:

Will the carpark attendants let us in the campervan/caravan car park if we do not in fact have said mobile accomadtion with us?

Is it true that the campervan car park on the east will be closer to pennards, thus less distance to walk then the car parks we are likely to get into on the west on Thursday AM.

We plan to leave at early hours monday morning, say 3am - so i do not think their will be too much of a problem with queuing to get out, please correct me if I am wrong with this assumption.

Is it a better deal or is their not much benefit in it?

Advice please........sorry about the essay!!

Thanks for you advice both.....helpful.

I didnt think it would just be as easy as that - to be able to just park your car in the campervan field.

So it looks like my original plan of M5 and use a west car park woud be the best option, but if anybody else has any more to add please do

I usually camp in Pennards and have walked there from both the west and east car parks. IMHO the west car parks are closer to Pennards...although not as close as they used to be before the site was extended (I remember when it was all fields round here etc etc grumble grumble lol). And on west side, as has been said, there is no hill of death. And trust me that really is some hill...!
