Anyone else treating Glasto as their main holiday this year

I am, with things the way they are, cant really afford anything else, so by F**k will I make the most of it for a full 5 days.

I may go away later in the year by myself, but my teenagers don't want to go on holiday with me anymore.

They came to Glast last year for the first time, and are coming again this year, so I am treating this as our 'family' holiday'. Certainly cost wise for me, buying three tickets and providing all the extras, means that it costs almost as much as a week abroad. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just happy that we have something that we can all agree to do together. I expect though that next year they'll be off on their own.

I don't do summer holidays, I do festivals!! Not long back from IOW, hopefully will have found my voice again in time for Glastonbury and cheerleading duties! After Glasto I have a whole load more festivals to look forward to

I am! I have four days in Somerset with my fake family, then five days at the festival - my longest break of the year by far :-)

Im not got a hols booked up for end of august/start of september. Gutted though cause was meant to be going to Benicassim festival but everyone bailed.

Always is for me. Don't do holidays as such and certainly not the going abroad stylee holidays. Just Glasto plus at least 1 smaller festival and usually a few days away for some non-local gigs and stuff during the year.

I'm off to Cornwall for a week in July too but that's it for me this year - not going abroad this year at all which is unusual but took the decision to keep my money in the UK economy while it needs it most

Its my main holiday this year but thats only because my main holiday is booked for 1st of january 2010 2 weeks snowboarding in Canada but more excited about glasto though.

I can't really think of anywhere i'd rather go to on holiday to be honest. Glasto's far better than being bored on a beach. So yes it is my main holiday.

glasto is our main summer holiday. the only 2 weeks abroad we do in sumer is when glasto isnt on. we did go abroad last year tho in summer but that was for a friends wedding, we wouldnt normally do glasto & go abroad.

we go abroad in winter tho, we have a skiing holiday in february every year.

Glasto is the muiddle of a two week holiday for me starting at 5pm tonght after drop cat in cattery; heading to Lakes tongiht til Tuesday night and after Glasto going to Cornwall to recuperate!

Less than 7 hours to go!!!!

Glastonbury is the only holiday I can afford.

Single dad with two kids 1 x adult ticket for a 6 days break - fantastic value.

Although this is the first year that I've had to pay for one of the kids as he is 14. Still great value.
