Last year, watching Elbow, the moment Guy Garvey started singing. I was SO happy, surrounded by friends, glorious weather, just coming up, watching my favourite band.

It was perfect B) , apart from the fact my best mate wasn't there with me B) .

The tears came from nowhere & boy did they flow. (Thanks for the much needed hankie HSC).

Standing in the sun on the saturday 2008 watching Crowded House. During Dont Dream Its Over. This is my fave song ever and just the sheer joy of being there watching them live playing that, the tears just came tumbling. Mind you , It could have been the cider!! B)B)

I haven't cried at Glasto but the moment that I had a lump in my throat was listening to Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve and watching a solitary lantern float up into the sky. I hadn't felt that calm in a very long time. Magic.

Deffinetly Paul McCartney doing the Beatles stuff in 2004 or the Marley Brothers doing Exodus in 2007.

Madness with their "secret" gig in the Lost Vagueness was awesome too although i didn't see too much (think that was in 2007).

OOOO and Nizlopi like every time i've seen them at Glasto, brilliant live performers!

Al Green doing 'Lets Stay Together' in 1999. In all white, not a speck of mud touched him. What a voice. Jimmy Cliff and 'Many Rivers to Cross' came pretty close.

Gutted I missed last year as Leonard Cohen would have been a lump in the throat moment for sure.

This year will be if (hopefully when) Neil Young does 'Old Man' or 'Cortez the Killer'. I'm getting kinda emotional now just thinking about it!

Also, if Nick Cave does 'Into My Arms' I'll be a jibbering wreck! :)

Richie Havens some years back in the acoustic for me. He finished with an extraordinary protest song that I've never heard before, me and my bro were just gone!!!

And Many Rivers To Cross but not last year, when he was on the pyramid.

Oh, and the guy walking around in a suit with a suitcase pretending there's a helicopter in the sky. I'd seen him lots of times before but was mashed and cried with laughter for about 15 minutes :D:lol::) . It's makin me :D just thinkin about it.

So many, The Men They Couldn't Hang Green Fields of France, Verve Drugs don't work (howling in the dirt for that one) Proclaimers, Sunshine on Leith, Jimmy Cliff (nearly the whole set when he played the pyramid on the Sat afternoon)

This year I know its going to be The Streets Edge of a Cliff and Never went to church

I have no chance of getting through The Specials with dry eyes now that I know they finish on "Enjoy Yourself - it's later than you think". A song I first loved at something like 17 and now I'm 45!

"The years go by as quickly as you wink" - Indeed!
