I went to Wilkinsons and bought the cheapest one they had for 12.99 for a double I think. Then 3.99 for a pump. Worked a treat the other weekend camping

tescos cheap one is ok, not self inflating though, got a cyclaire pump for 15 quid though, its manual and inflates the bed in under 5 mins no problems, didnt even break a swet on the trial

The campingaz ones (called quickbed I think) are pretty good and come with an inflatable pillow attched which is really handy! If you're coming to I'll be brining along a battery powered pump too

Husband and friend went down ahead of us last year, once tent was up they thought they would go and find a pint, leaving the bed blowing up until they got back.

not a good idea, both too drunk on Brothers to work the foot pump (apparently none of the fittings would work) so had to sleep on the floor. The next morning it worked like a dream, funny that.

I have a nice double air bed from Go-Outdoors but it takes 10-15 minutes with a foot pump (usually late at night so that may not be the best possible time )

Debating one of those monster hand pump things but I can see my spare cash flying out of the window with good ideas closer to the day.
