How much alcohol?

Glastonbury is massive, which means alot of walking so I reckon you burn of alot of alcohol. now if you start drinkind at 12pm and stop at 4 am thats 16 hours so I think 15 - 20 cans a day is sufficient. I bought all mine with me last year but got a bit pissed of carrying a bag around, this year I'll bring the same but probably buy a lot more beers at the tents, cold is so much better! Oh and i advise cans of cider instead of beer because luke warm cider is easier to drink than luke warm beer only problem is its like someone took a dump in your mouth the next morning....

I've only ever taken spirits and bough mixers, beer and cider at the bars as I've always come along on the coach. Has anyone ever taken crates of beer on the coaches before?

I am bringing:

11 x 500 ml bottles, premixed with vodka and orange/cranberry juice (about 1.5 standard sized bottles of vodka decanted)

1 x 500 ml bottle of red wine

1 x crate of lager to be shared between me and my boyfriend

4 x cans of Pimms

Off to get the lager and the Pimms once the grand prix is over

I will be taking 15 Carlsberg & 15 Strongbow and 1x3l box white and 1x3l box red and possibly 1x70cl bottle voddy for me and the mrs.

Plus loads of cash to buy stuff on site, dont like carrying a rucksack in the evenings so will most buy on site then.
