I think radiohead are a band you either love or hate, there no inbetween. I dont think a you tube vid will change there view.

the 1997 performance was so much better than 2003.

Lost phophets 2004 was one of top 5 sets Ive ever seen at leeds. I nearly died!

But i wont be missing anyone for Radiohead (even Deadmou5)

On a side note, Thom York always seems like hes taken way too many drugs during Karma Police in that set, he slurs every word in it.

I dont love or hate Radiohead. They are probably the mainstage headliner id most like to see, but unfortunately they are up against 2 headlienrs id rather see over them, so its a no for me

If people generally don't like Radiohead, that's fair enough. If they have given the singles the time of day, perhaps picked up OK Computer or The Bends (or even Kid A) to see what the fuss is about, and not got along with it, fine.

However, I don't like it when people dismiss them as 'boring' or 'whiny' with very little investigation. There's some people I know who 'don't like' Radiohead merely because they are popular and they come out with crap like 'why do you pay to listen to a man crying blah blah'. . It seems to be the most lazy critique from people who haven't really listened to them much - 'they are depressing'*. A similar criticism is leveled at Coldplay who as far as I'm concerned has some pretty decent thing going on in their early material.

Live they are on another planet really. I don't think some people realise just how impressive they are musicians/technically. Sadly a lot of people I know think the faster you play your instruments, the better you are. Therefore in their eyes, Radiohead are poor. Wouldn't surprise me if that was the opinion of many others.

When Radiohead were first announced I was like I'm not off to watch them there **** and boring and all this crap and I actually didn't give them a listen or anything, I'd only really heard Creep. But when I actually listened to The Best Of album, I changed my opinion and I will be there for deffo. Will be one of the highlights of the weekend. Unbelievably good band. Is going to be awesome

I'm going with a fairly large group and most of them will be seeing la roux (why?) or lost prophets.

A chance to see Radiohead is one i'm not going to miss

I'm in a 3 way debate between Radiohead, Lostpropehts and Deadmau5.

Initially I was set on Radiohead. I mean, it's Radiohead! I've been listening to them for years and haven't seen them. But I love Lostprophets but have seen twice before. And Deadmau5 just looks amazing!

Getting a ticket for Deadmau5 or Lost Prophets would be a damn sight easier than Radiohead. I totally understand where people are coming, id love to see both of those but Radiohead are just something else, 2+2 = 5 on that link is just breathtaking.

Obviously if you dont like them it doesn't matter, but if your not sure who to see id seriously recommend seeing RH they are some experience live.

I'v gotta go for Deadmau5, everyone keeps telling me that I'm insane and I can see him a lot easier than Radiohead, but I stand by my decision as I just plain enjoy his music more. I'm not saying that Radiohead aren't talented, its just not my style and I would rather end the weekend with a hyped up night in the Dance tent.
