Death in the family and we can't go

My father in law died this evening, so my husband and I can't (and would not want to) go to Glastonbury. On the back of the tickets it says no refunds after a certain date in May, but I am hoping that as these are rather exceptional circumstances, someone will take pity on us and allow a refund. We are not looking to sell the tickets on at a profit or anything like that but it is a hell of a lot of money, and with the whole personalised tickets thing, we can't even sell them on at face value.

If anyone knows of anybody I can contact at the festival (I'm guessing See Tickets will not be that helpful) I would be so grateful.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help and take pity on us...I don't really know how the paperwork of a death happens, but I am sure we can prove that this is true if need be.

Edit: I did not mean to post this twice - sorry!
