is it probably not worth bringing them as they will get confiscated?.

or would it be worth putting them into bottled contianers,or will the beer go flat?.

Should i just go buy more beer,and get cans this time. and drink the others beers to help me forget how i bought bottles not cans for a festival,lol.

cheers,i think ile buy cans and it wont matter if i do get searched and get a few bottles taken away.

maybe ile drink all the bottles on the way to glasto!.lol.

im prerrty poor till payday the thursday off glasto.

think i can get some cheap and chearful enough cans in time though.

Most supermarkets would take them back and swap for the same value in cans if you bought them from them in the first place and had a receipt.

My experience with Asda's (often abused whilst at uni) returns policy is that they would probably swap them without a receipt if you said your partner / Mum etc... bought you beer for Glasto without knowing about the no glass rule. Probably worth checking that Asda actually sell the brand you have first thou

good thinking, i might just do that. although one crate has been opened, but i might try go back and get one exchanged for a cans crate.

im sure i can scrimp out a few pennies on buying even more beer though.

Personally wouldn't decant cos it'll go flat and taste horrible but as people have said above, try to exchange. If you can't do that, drink it and buy more!

buy some more beer in cans and take both.... soon as you park up crack a bottle or three or more before u start ur trek into the site... any subsequent visits to the car repeat said formula... but make sure u leave ur empties in the car...sorted
