early removal of bogs

I know it has been said before, much more eloquently, but setting off to the bogs only to find them gone and expecting us to traipse some distance (as with everything in life sh-it is about timing too) to the racecourse toilets was not on.

I didn't think the line up compared with previous years, but it was more to do with blend, you have to have festival bands to glue the others together, and there were few. of them Having just got back from Meltdown to see Patti Smith in which she had some traditional Morrocan musicians join her for a few songs, all I can say to Den about his Kaftan drummers is don't complain it can get much worse. Actually the Dhol Foundation were good

It is still a wonderful festival and the absence of crime was to be applauded, although the nobbers who smashed the front window of a family campervan should be ashamed. The little I saw of the local constabulary, I thought they got their approach to policing the festival more positive than previous, so well done.

I thought the food was briiliant and although it would be expensive for a family (was there any kids portions on offer?) that is true of eating out anywhere.

Well done to the organisers, you have us coming back in numbers next year, I know you do early purchase and concessions but try and remember that an affordable festival is likely to be more inclusive.

ALL the portions were kids portions!

We aint big eaters--and its a friggin good job otherwise.... it would cost circa 15-20 snots at every troughing.

We supplement the "treats" with fill ups back at the van--that way I can fill up mesell with more beer!
