Sell me a band I should absolutely go and see

I'm sure this has been done before, but rather than just have a thread with a massive list of names which I'm not going to remember, I'd rather people came in here and wrote about a bit about the band, mentioned when/where they're on, and perhaps linked a video of them.

I shall start.

I'm sure a lot of you know about them, but my band is British Sea Power. They're on Friday at Avalon, and, unless you have your heart set on seeing Neil Young, I would highly recommend seeing. One of my favourite bands, have written two of my favourite albums ever, and so, so good live.

I'll do another two a bit later. My lunch is ready.

i saw this guy at the banyan tree cafe (its called something else now though i think) he was an arabic (maybe) guitarist beatboxing rapper guy. about 50 of us in the tent max and he was the best act i saw all festival. he's probably not on there this year but check out the tent, lots of surprises in there.

Gabriella Cilmi

Her voice melts my heart. Stunningly pretty, and only 17. Think Amy Winehouse, but better, and with a face you can actually look at.

Second act on the Pyramid on Friday, around 12:15 ish. Right before Regina Spektor, too, who is an absolute must-see for me.
