aw! i forgot to watch the countryfile weather forecast thie morning :(

On bears, I once read a wonderful story about a train carrying grain over the Rockies. When it reached the summit and began the downhill run the brakes failed and it went out of control on a bend and the grain trucks overturned.

To stop the bears being attracted to the side of the track they decided to dig a pit and bury the grain.

But the gain fermented and the bears dug it up and ended up being even more of a threat - pissed up bears staggering all over the railway line.

That's why we need a monorail to travel safely above boozy bears.

The birds are quite cute....but not really fussed about the tax payers money and farming and hunger and whatever. I'm sure it is important but I want my forecast!!!

It is a really special place. Had really strange experiences around there a few years back.

Wooo yeah. It's definitely going to be last. Well 7.45 at the earliest, I reckon. Will try to take the whole thing down in shorthand and relay it here as close to word for word as possible, although I guess it'll be on Iplayer anyway.
