A levels - 2010

Has anybody else been told that A levels next year go on into late June / Early July - at least the provisional dates show that on the AQA web site.

Daughter is devestated as we will have to opt out of Glastonbury next year unless  they change the dates.

I've mailed the exam board asking them to think again - the more that do the better

I remember in 05 (which happened on the same dates that 2010 will happen) my last exam for GCSE's was on the thursday of Glastonbury (didn't help with concentration). However by this stage all the A-levels had finished, also when I took mine they finished before Glastonbury (I think it was a week before). Obviously it all depends on which board and which subject, but they normally are done by the last week or two of June. I'd keep checking the site, check last years dates and ask them if the exam dates are normally subject to change.

Its only A2 exams being affected by this, AS' tend to be done earlier.

Basically its one of those years where everything is a week later. Like some events at my school which would usually be around Glasto time are a week later into July.

Exam timetables unfortuately tend not to change as I remember this time last year checking my exam dates for this year. They didn't change

So will probably see everyone in 2011 after this week :)

Al you cannot miss 2010. Its going to be amazing. If your not there on weds next year I shall go to your school and drag you to glastonbury. This may be hard because I don't know where the school is or what you look like. All I have to go on is a stoned Kermit. Its my first clue.

Now I need my detective hat and a pipe

Cheers. I THINK I'm ok. But with Psychology being two days after I get back I dont know what to do. Its my mum who will need convincing. I'm a shit reviser and I'm failing Psychology at the moment so it will be interesting..

If your a shit reviser then over the weekend your going to be watching Wimbledon and Glastonbury on TV and get nothing done at all. So you might as well come. If your mum has no knowledge of festivals just take your books and say you'll do some there.
