Thom York is at Latitude...it would seem like thats an "exclusive" festival slot, but dont rule out a Glasto appearance - after all they are both run by the same people so they cant sue themselves for breaking exclusivitiy. In fact, if it was an exclusive at Latitude it would more than likely have been announced as that, to boost ticket sales, suggesting he has another slot lined up somewhere.

But Glasto? Or Reading/Leeds? Maybe T in the Park? Could be anywhere else really...

Putting an 'e' at the end of York(e) would be wise in order to avoid the 'RADIOHEAD R PLAYIN EVRY UNREVEALED SLOT AT GLASTO TRUST ME I KNO!" brigade swamping your thread *not sure if they all spell like that mind*

edit: one of the first replies did actually spell it right and I'm not sure why I even written this reply

You know full well who he's referring to. Why is everyone being so sarky and arsey with people all of a sudden here? It's a real downer to the whole boards. Well done, its well clever that people can spell Thom Yorke, and make jokes at people's expenses who haven't got tickets, and have in jokes whenever a virgin asks a question. It's hardly the type of atmosphere I'd expect in the runup to Glasto though, and it's a real shame, and it's really putting me off posting here.

Placebo didn't say they'd play Glasto.

The article said they would, but that wasn't Placebo saying it. Going by the many other errors the beeb has published around Glasto this year I think it's probably the case that this is simply yet another of them.

posting etiquette? seriously? is it a website messageboard or a nazi camp?

people should stop being so miserable and encourage the new posters even if they are asking questions heard a thousand times, bu thten i guess after 30 years of not missing a festival most people are to cool to acknowledge the excitement the younger people that go will be experiencing, with all their crazy new fangled bands purely aimed at making record labels money. it wasnt like that in the beatles day.
