No-one? Okay - here are a few acts I'd like to see, who I think are reasonable - well, except the first 2 who I doubt will ever play:

40th Anniversary big names: (Over-ambitious headliners, basically)

U2

Rolling Stones

More likely headliners:

Coldplay

Eric Clapton

Elbow

Arcade Fire

Either Gilmour or Waters (both together would be orgasmic)

Some other names I'd love to see in some capacity:

Mark Knopfler

Seth Lakeman

Show Of Hands

David Gray

The Bees

Tunng

I Am Kloot

Robert Plant

BB King

Band Of Horses

Bright Eyes

Two Gallants

Ocean Colour Scene

Seasick Steve

And let's throw in a few light hearted fun type acts for early on the Saturday:

ZZ Top

Rolf Harris

Huey Lewis

The Cars

Anyone else got any suggestions?

Ooh next year's gonna be a right old ear quake. We all know the Stones are playing along with Prince and Radiohead. But what's really exciting is that the entire Sub Pop rosta are taking over the Other Stage on the saturday. And that includes Flight of The Conchords who will be comperes. Broken Social Scene will at last make it and all members will be appearing in their other guises (Feist, Amy Millan, Apostle of Hustle etc) across the stages throughout the weekend. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will be there. So will Mott The Hoople. Ryan Adams will end his retirement to play the John Peel Stage and the monorail will finally be up and running just in time. 2010. I'm so there already....

Roll on bloody Monday

I've got the day off and I won't have to pack up and sit in my car for 10 hours in the heatwave.

Roll on Tuesday

Nor will I be feeling Suicidaly depressed for I will be going to Glasto 2010.

I wish our mates wouldn't keep texting how good it is this year. I keep telling them the 2005 deluge is on it's was so leave now but they are having none of it.

right then, where did I put that bottle of brothers?

I'm doing so well people - it's nearly 3.30 on Sunday afternoon and I haven't watched a single second of footage.

It's like a spot that itches, but you know you can't scratch it because it'll only make it worse and open it up.

I'm itching like f**k but the TV remote remains in the corner of the room. Go me.

I have some Chuck Berry on as I type. Rock and roll for the win. Any chance of a bit of Chuck in 2010? (As in Chuck Berry - I daresay that will be much vomitus over the site over the 5 days).

U2

Eric Clapton

Rolling Stones

ZZ Top

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Foo Fighters

Brian Wilson

White Stripes

Paul Weller

Green Day

Chuck Berry

Radiohead

Any of the above would be nice to see next year. Headliner-wise I'd think Clapton, Foo Fighters, Radiohead & Green Day are realistic options?
