Off to trawl through all the beeb channels now for highlights etc ....

I think if you only do the BBC 2 stuff it'll take up about 35%. I've had to speed watch loads of stuff this weekend to make the room and then I spotted all the BBC3 and 4 coverage last night. Might just have to lose everything!

Put it all onto record then realised the plugs bound to get turned off at some point so cancelled most of it. Torrents and iPlayer are the way forward

I agree, Murdoch is a c**t, but in terms of sports coverage, movies etc, Sky provide a great service. I've tried other cable companies and they don't come close.

Then you're doing it wrong.

For less than half the price of a half-year's sky subscription in a one-off never-again payment, you can get many more Prem matches than Sky gives you.

Shaft Murdoch, don't give him your cash FFS. He's responsible for a large part of the bad state of this country.

Sadly, if you want to watch any decent sport in this country you need to give that c**t your money. I have my principles, but sadly they don't stretch to missing pretty much every important sporting event on the calendar.

I've got a Freeview record box with 2 record channels.

All set up across all 3 channels - BBC2, 3 & 4

My 'library' page has a recorded / booked to record bar at the bottom to show how full I'm getting. Have deliberately kept recordings to a min to leave enough space for everything on the Beeb

Ooh, tell more Neil. At the mo, I am a dirty illegaler for prem matches (myp2p.eu for those of you that are interested!), what is this scheme you are aware of?
