yes we are going to do this.

we are going to be a lot tougher on IDs at the gate with challenge 21 and once you have produced it you can get a wristband but you should still carry your ID with you. bars will still ask people for ID in case the wristband has been passed around so its best to get one of the ID cards and just keep this with you instead of your whole wallet.

under 18s will have a separate ticket next year as well and a different colour wristband.

hi jim, thanks for such a great festival, cant believe its all over!! The only thing ill say could have been better was the security leading to the main arean, they were pretty power hungry with regards to taking alcohol off people. The one question i want to ask is will you please please please consider getting faithless next year? Thankyou

rachelbon - if you lose your i.d tough, we all have to carry it at some point, if you wana get alcohol carry i.d or you could have one long and sober night

jim is being kind enough to come on here, you wont get that with other festivals

i know its not popular but we cant have alcohol brought into the arena or the ticket price would have to go up to cover the losses on the bars. the bars make up an important part of the income needed to run the show and without them we couldnt do it. like i said not popular but unavoidable

actually quick question for you all......

would you pay a bit extra on the ticket price to be able to bring your own drink (in plastic bottles) anywhere on the site?

had an amazing time at rockness!!had gotten quite bored of oxegen so me and my bro came over from dublin to see if there was anythin better out there,an we definetely weren't disappointed!great place,great people and was more than happy with the line up!

any ideas as to when the early bird tics will be available?

i'm sure people will disagree with me, but i wouldn't want to pay extra to take my own drink into the arena. i'm quite happy buying a nice cold pint in the arena. it was bad enough carrying all my booze from the campsite, nevermind bringing enough to drink during the day.

EDIT: would be good to take your own booze in at night after the bands have finished - maybe allow people to take their own drink in after 12pm art no extra charge? because there's not much to do in the campsite and there's still plenty happening in the arena - but you have to leave your scoop behind.

Would you ever consider a "taxi service" as in when we get in the gates to arrive, since there are so many quads nd carts, if we paid like £5 for them to transport our stuff to our desired place to camp?
