hi Jim,

This is more of an idea rather than a question.

I have noticed people moaning about lack of things to do on the Sunday night.

Well could you not turn the clash tent into a silent disco but have two top quality Dj's playing that way, no disruption to the village noise wise (apart from some whistles & hollering but you get that from campsite anyway) and it means lot's of people partying on for another couple of hours to some Tunes.

Jim,

Awsome year this year - considering never going back to T as it was unbeatable!!!

Only one problem - the lanyards fell to pieces this year by the Sunday night I only had the front page left .... my question is - is there anywhere we can buy another lanyard - perhaps you could sell leftovers and leftover t-shirts on the website?

Roll on RockNess 2010

Cheers,

Stu

I don't think I would want to pay extra to bring my own drink in, would end up drinking what I had and paying even more at the bar for more drink!

But for people on a budget it might be a better idea, then they don't need to worry about paying for expensive drink in the arena.

It would also depend how much extra that would be added onto the ticket.

But I have to say NO to the Foos!! :D

Hi Jim

This was my second year at rockness. Had an amazing time both years. Loved the line-up the 1st year and i think you managed a stronger line-up this year. Im glad nothing major was changed this year and most things just seemed to be improved on last year. Cant wait to buy my ticket for next year! Love the fact you know exactly what type of festival you want to be and are goin to keep it that way. Rockness is perfect the size it is! Much respect for you and your team!

My only gripe about the whole festival was the drop off camping entrance. We got there about 12.30. Think there was probably a couple of hundred people, cant comment on how many were there throughout the day. I just think the wristband tent would have worked better if you were to walk thru it rather than get 2 the front of the queue and then try to force your way thru the crowds to the entrance? Was this something you picked up on?

last year the silent disco was in the tent up by the rizzla bus im assuming you kept it in the fat sams tent so it was down the bottom of the field? anyway...i think it was empty becasue no body knew it was on. it wasnt mentioned anywhere. me and my mates were so dissapointed that you didnt have one. now i find you did. cant we add a page to the lanyard that shows approx times and locations of events that arent bands?

Is the whole point of the Q&A not to ask questions? :)

Alot of fests (eg. Reading & Leeds) are bringing in seperate over 18 wristbands. Surely this is better trhan making people carry there passports etc... around? Yes you would need to bring it b ut you could put it in a locker, passports aren't cheap and it's alot of hassle trying to get a new one. I'm 27 yet still get ID'd, it's not my fault I don't look like a wrinkly old git. :P
