V is much bettter, nothing I like more than 2 days music 3 days camping, paying a tenner for a crappy stage plan, massive toilet ques, over priced greasey burgers, Cheryl 'im a attention seeking c**t' Cole. OMGZ LOLZ look at me types and stench of stale beer and piss.

I feel qualified to offer my opinion as I have been to both several times and have also been to quite a few other festivals that I can gauge against. Opinions and arseholes though ...

Trying to compare V to G is like comparing shagging a blow up doll to making love to a beautiful woman, both will satisfy your needs but one will leave you feeling empty and ashamed whilst the other will respond to your touch with kisses and a reacharound..

Seriously though, one is a festival, the other is a 2 day arena gig so not really comparable.

I've been to both twice and it's daft to try and compare V to Glastonbury, Glastonbury completely blows it out of the water.

I did go to v every year untill I went to Glastonbury for the first time in 2003 .that year I also had v ticket so I went and it was awful compared to Glastonbury so I've vowed never to go back.the music is to main stream,the music finishes far to early,no were to go when bands finish a less you fancy the big dipper,no fires ,and you can't take your own drink in the arena.
