Sat at home this weekend and watched virtually all the TV coverage.

All credit to the BBC camera men / technicians who did a great job all weekend of providing brilliant footage of the live music and excellent sound quality - however the quality of some of the 'journalism' from the presenters in between was pretty poor. It seemed overly sycophantic. Edith Bowman was particularly bad. She seems to only know 2 words - 'awesome' and 'amazing' which she said in describing almost every band. After one performance she said the word amazing 3 times in one sentance.

Lauren Laverne was better I thought, and the coverage on BBC 6 Music was also very good.
