Ooooh! Just realised i haven't done this yet! (Although it maybe overlaps with 5 highlights)

Blur- I am always a bit emotional on Sunday because it's nearly over for another year but when Damon cried my ridiculous sobbing reached a whole new level!

Emmy The Great - More Sunday tears. I'd heard the name but knew nothing. I think I thought they were probaly a rock/indie type band. There was something just so lovely about her voice and the songs - just pure simplicity. I don't know why I cried - maybe just a bit overtired, but it was the first album I downloaded on my return and I wasn't disappointed.

Jamie T - How great was he? ....and how jealous was I of all the people who knew every word? Terrific atmosphere, terrific showman.

Dizzy - Felt like I'd attended his coming of age party.

I really wanted to put Madness in but couldn't leave any of the above out. In the end they were bumped because they only had to turn up - and the crowd would look after the rest. Good though!

I do also have to mention Lily - much better than expected and deserving of an honorable mention for a finale which had the women in the field dancing and singing along whilst the men looked at their shoes - hilarious!

1. Blur - worth the ticket money by themselves

2. Kasabian - slightly scary near the front (I'm only 5'2") but worth every moment

3. Spinal Tap - particularly Sex Farm. Me and hubby were crying with laughter

4. Art Brut - just fabulous

also, must add The Specials. Never been a fan but found I couldn't leave (luckily The Horrors were late on so I didn't miss them)

3. Blur - outstanding set and I was sober! Tender was a true Glasto moment

4. Egg - first viewing for me and loved it.

Also rans - Madness (for Night Boat to Cairo alone)........TOm for his prensence........Rolf (enough said!).......Jason Mraz and Paolo Nutini(?).......Pete Doherty (excellent set)......Blockheads (so sad without the late great Ian Dury though)........Bruce(although I admit that 2:40 was long enough thanks) .......Scrobious Pip vs Dans Le Sac (nearly made the top 4).......

TBH I saw 26 acts (most for the full set) and did not see one that disappointed although the Fleet Foxes were on the wrong stage at the wrong time....
