Aye the bump is the thing worrying myself and a few of the pharmacists at work. They said i should at least pop up to the hospital to see if there's any damage to the bone. Hopefully its nothing serious- i can still walk on it so doesnt seem to be anything too serious.

I followed up Hogga's saved penalty to neatly pass underneath Chaz's falling body!

Well deserved victory for england I thought.

Fantastic event, definitely need to try and make it an annual thing if possible...especially as I couldnt wait for eavis to turn up this year...I needed a beer!

I played second half wearing Bobby Moore No.6 T-shirt - Centre Back.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, although suspicions are that I clashed with Party Animal judging by the bruise on my leg - been to walk-in-centre to check for damage yesterday as my lower leg is severely bruised and still totally numb to touch!! Got crunched about 1min from end in 3 man tackle.

I'll post a pic when download photos

Got some Arnica Cream - told to rest with elevation till numbness goes - bleeding on muscle/nerve or something (think that is just doc term for booted in leg!).

Thursday was pure pain, but didn't feel it after that - prob as it went numb! Hope you get yours sorted, I'm sure it is just brusing - advise you to get Arnica cream too (Boots Pharmacy), and some cider from Threshers

Im going up to hospital tonight for a scan on my leg It's been agony today and i couldnt put weight on it yesterday at the AC/DC gig. The bump isnt going down and the bruising is now actually worse than the pic shown prev

Still had a blast though and keep telling folk about my international goal scoring stats

Nasty mate. Probably best with doing the West Highland Way last week and then all that walking (and dancing!) in the past week. I've honestly never seen anything like that before, suprised Welfare let you out with it!

Just back from the hospital. I have a big hematoma

Its the same as Johnny_77. The way I interpreted the docs explanation was that part of a muscle in my leg has been pressed against the side of the shin bone causing it to bleed and swell. Gradually the blood has moved down my leg and caused the further bruising (i now have bruising on the side of my foot btw ).

I've to rest over the next few weeks (got T in the park soon ) and gradually the bruising will go away. The doctor said the swelling/ bump will also gradually go down but might not go away completely for a few months

Least i've not damaged the bone i guess
