I managed to grab one of a flag that said Kilburn and me being from there, and on the off change, wondered if it belonged to anyone on here?

And to the poster with the photo of Albarn, you lucky sod, I saw him walking through Dance Village with minders towards 2ManyDJ's, went to get my camera out of my pocket and got told "No Mate" by his minder.

Legendary idea, some randomer’s we bumped into on the Thursday had optics on the back of there wheelchair!

The guy who was actually disabled was sat on the floor, telling my mate to touch her forehead, and think healing thoughts to try and heal her!

My mate was a bit apprehensive at first as he thought it was a bit out of order, but eventually did it as all there group chanted for him to cure her! She then magically sprung up and shouted “I’m cured!”, it certainly got a fair few people laughing! (only really acceptably funny as it was the disabled person who’s joke it was :D)

Heres a photo of my mates getting a shot of rum afterwards as a reward for his healing powers!

I don't feel like I ever got into a proper photographic groove over the weekend, but then again I was pretty music-focused this year. If I were going to bring an SLR again then I would definitely bring a proper-height tripod - the Gorillapod basically never got used because there was never anything to put it on. Also I would take a night out just as a photo night, maybe on the Wednesday or Thursday, and focus on getting some good shots. That Boston Globe / Big Picture portfolio has humbled us all!

These shots are a mixture of mostly Canon 20D + 28-135mm IS / 17-40mm F4L and a few of them are from my little Panasonic Lumix FX37.

I tended to put my "big camera" away in a lockup in the evenings which means I missed some good shots but also meant I could concentrate on soaking it all in and not worrying about loss or theft...
