Tommy
Ok, I know that all festivals need to have this for a variety of reasons, but was anyone camping on Wicket Ground / Lime Kiln a little peeved at the placing of hospitality camping this year? Last year it was so easy to get from the campsite to the stages, but with that there, the walk was a killer... not cool at all to be honest! Awesome weekend though... Tommy
Sorry? I didn't mean to say I was camped in hospitality - I wasn't. I was just up in my preferred spot in Lime Kiln, but they put a massive Hospitality compound between us and the stages.
Toilet Duck
We were in wicket ground, nice campsite actually, may well go for it again, but yeah, it was a bit of a pain to know that without the big green fence you could walk in a straight line to the John Peel in half the time. Still, beats the hill of death up to the campervan fields, plus the toilets halfway along were possibly the quietest and cleanest in the whole site all weekend. Edit: Usually we go in quite a bit further, but the first of our group to arrive had been in the car for about 10 hours (from Bristol!), so went for the first field he saw when he got in the gate!
