Release the wristbands!

As William Shakespeare once said - "Release my wristband you cruel, metal beast".

Has anyone got any tips on busting apart the metal case on this years wristbands? I don't want to have to cut it. Its almost like the metal is unbreakable. I've tried using a screwdriver, a hammer, and the cat tried to bite and scratch it off but still I can't break it.

Anyone managed to pry it carefully off yet?

I forced a screw driver in and prized it apart a little bit- Be careful not to stab yourself though

I tried that but it's too difficult and I am much too weak. I suppose I could give it another go.

Scissors work very well on the cloth part I find...

screwdriver and hammer work well togther, or just leave it on for a while and grow to love it.

cut mine off as soon as I got home. don't like wristbands at all

Use pliers to squeeze the clasp in the opposite direction to how it is closed.

I just stretched the material over my hand.

For the five years I've gone I've always managed to just pull the wristband off. It was a bit more of a challenge this year (bloody hand getting fatter) but it still came off

Mine is staying on for all eternity.

I can get my wristbands off over my freakishly slim wrists (especially considering not much else of me is that slim).

Also get them on again so I had 4 wristbands on all week!
