Didn't see all of these myself / but my group did, so I may as well name them all:

Chatted to Matthew Horne at Pyramid before Spinal Tap

and saw Zane Lowe and a Maccabee join him soon after

Nick Grimshaw at Trash City

Jo Whiley walking down a path

Carl Barat off his face at about 8am at the Park on Sunday

Guy Garvey stood by a bar

Pixie Geldoff walking down a path

A mate also spoke to one of the GLC (can't remember which one) for ages by the dance village - mate said that he thinks the GLC bloke thought he knew him (vaguely at least) - from South Wales we are see - that was quite amusing

Another mate was working for Worthy FM all week and got to interview Graham Coxon, Howard Marks and many, many others - lucky girl.

We spent Thursday sitting around at the tents working our way through several boxes of wine and getting ripped by the campsite crew, so weren't expecting any Celeb activity, when Danny Wallace came by and interviewed us for his radio 2 show! I'm crap at being cool with celebs, I was like "bloody hell, you're Danny Wallace!" to which he replied "yes, I am". I then rambled a bit in a creepy fan type fashion "I've read your book" etc etc.

Anyway, he was asking people to pick a random track from their mp3 player (on shuffle). We used mine and picked track #8 which turned out to be The Beatles, She Loves You. Relief ensued, as it could easily have been Dolly Parton or Bonnie Tyler! Mum recorded it, I'm going round for a listen tomorrow, apparently we sounded a little over-excited (mum-speak for bladdered!!)

Also my mate said James Corden was outside our tent in the early hours of the morning, but this may have been a dream!

I bumped into Johnny Ball in the pub with the little beer garden near the John Peel stage. I walked up to him, and shock his hand and thanked him for his television shows (which anyone of my age probably would have found ten times more entertaining than science or maths at school). He was pleased with that, and said it meant so much to him that people thought he did good yadda yadda. All good.

Until that is he came to leave. I'd sat back down with my wife, and he came by us on his way out, shock my hand again, and then .... asked my wife for a snog! Now, as I've said that I've got a lot of time for Ball, given his ability to make science and maths entertaining, and I'm sure that resulted in more people takiing up science and maths at school, but if he comes up to my wife and asks for a snog from a woman young enough to be his daughter, I'd say "Oy! Ball! Nooooo!"

My wife said she would, but she smelled too much by that day. I glared at him and he ran away before I had a chance to ask him outside ....

Childhood dreams in tatters on the floor, it was. Devistating. It was like finding out that Mr Benn wanted a blow job from my sister, or something.

I saw Jarvis Cocker near the John Peel stage...I just stared before realising who it was and I saw Kissy Sell Out walking through the dance village... I shouted Kissy and he waved and smiled back  and two guys from Shipwrecked barged through me in the Dizzee Rascal crowd

My list:

walked past Marcus Brigstocke

pretty sure I actually saw Peaches Geldof and NOT one of her 100k clones

MET Adam & Joe just before they went on stage at the Caberet

and talked to one of my gods...Gavin Pretor-Pinney the man who set up the Cloud Appreciation Society. Spoke to him after his lecture at the Uni and he gave me a badge and was muchly impressed by my cloud knowledge!

Jeremy Hardy buying a fish curry by the jazz world.

Gaz and Danny from Supergrass/Hot Rats walking along the railway tracks after their secret show.

I'm usually terrible at noticing celebs so pretty pleased with those three!

I am obviously an absolute retard and live in a teeny tiny blinkered world of my own, cos I don't think I saw 1 famous person, not 1. Maybe I need new contacts!
