Hi guys... :D

I already own a four man tent - but there is only two of us planning on sleeping in it...will this be a problem??

This will save us a fortune by not having to buy a new tent that will probably never get used again!!

Is there any rules to the max capacity at V?? Everyone Ive spoken to said this shouldnt be a problem...but when I look at previous pictures there seems to be streams of bog standard 2 man type tents...I just wanted advice from a V regular so I don't end up having to sleep in a feild tentless due to jobsworth sercuity & silly rules!! :(

We're in the Red site if that makes any difference?? :(

Thanks in advance! xx

a 4 person tent between 2 of you won't be a problem at all... i dont think there are any rules with regards to tent size as such but just a bit of common sense. taking a 6 man tent on your own may be a bit OTT.

I think the reasdon you see so many little 2 person tents is cos they're generally cheaper and people who camp on their own use them

Yeah that will be fine so don't worry. It makes more sense to have a tent slightly bigger so you have more room. I (and all my mates) tend to take a two man tent each just for the added comfort. They couldn't possibly check who is sleeping where and in what etc. and no restriction has ever been mentioned.

I guess they may have issues if you turned up with a circus big top, however that would equally be very cool!!!
