Anyone see The Horrors?

This was quite possibly one of the defining performances for me. It was one those gigs that you will never forget in my eyes. Faris rarely shows much appreciation but I heard him say something along the lines of "its good to play a gig that actually means something" which was really nice. They also totally ditched their old material which was such a brave move but very wise. I had a right dance from afar with a couple of others and it was immense.

Totally agree. Quality set. I loved his miserable stomping about the stage! And "we're the horrors. bye" to finish the set was legendary.

They're only going to get better. Hopefully it will be a big twelve months for them.

PS whilst watching them we glanced across a this old woman who looked about 90, stood in complete awe waving her arms about. I looked down and for a second thought the poor thing had snapped both her legs at the shins from standing too long, until i realised she'd pushed her wellies boots forward off her feet and was stood on top of them hiding her feet. Random glasto comedy moment!

All the bands at the Park I can imagine being the best that weekend. The Horrors, Bombay Bicycle Club and Easy Star All Stars.

The Horrors set was my best find of the weekend by far. I thought the music was great and the singer and his dry humour was indeed legendary - his parting comment at the end left me smiling for ages.

Oh, there might be a wee cheeky audience recording if anyone's interested...hopefully in the next few days : )

My 1st trip to the Park in 3 years. Know nothing of the Horrors but 3 of us stayed for the show, great gig. We all 3 agreed that the Park has the best sound of all the largest stages
