Thank you to the E-fest people

I forgot to do this sooner, but I meant to say thank you to all of the people who made me feel very welcome on wednesday when I arrived without my friends who were 12 hours late.

I apologise for any names I miss as I have a brain like a seive, not sure why, may have something to do with the lack of sleep for the last few days, but a massive thanks to nominaomi, markontour, hannah (not sure of screen name), Sue (with the broken foot) Paul (I think) and his dad Roy (great wig) who stopped me going mad on the wednesday day time and everyone I spoke to at the ciderbus meet, including the generally inappropriate Bagpuss

I was the guy in the Liverpool shirt who nearly didn't get into the car park as the stewards didn't like my shirt and made the normal comments about checking their wallets, oh the comedy, will it never start

Without all of your help I would have been wandering around aimlessly with a trolley fuill of stuff all day starting to hate the site before I got started.

I did eventually move away from , that had nothing to do with anyone there, it was because Glasto was a leaving party for some friends who took off for 6 months around the world today and then 6 months as snowboarding instructors in Canada.

I will be at Glasto next year, with ir without friends as I know I can rely on the brilliant people here for somewhere to be welcomed.

I'd decided in 2007 that 2008 would be my last, but after meeting efesters and camping in the triangle last year I realised that the last year idea had been a ridiculous thing to decide, and instead vowed to go every year. E-fests makes Glastonbury for me.

Yes, this too. Though we didn't make it down to or any of the meets, bar a brief appearance on Wednesday night up at the Stone Circle. The pre-meet in the Rifleman's on Tuesday was brilliant fun, though I forget most people's names. (And my own, fairly often) Also a huuuuuuge thanks to everyone from Avebury. We had the most amazing time and I'm only sorry I was a bit too tired/shy to interact as much as I wanted to. I was overwhelmed by how lovely everyone I met was and I hope I get to see you all again! (Gaz echoes the sentiments and promises to join up soon and do his own complimenting and dirty work)

Glastonbury 2009 was a massive highlight in LIFE.

Dear Efest people...

is it too early to suggest an out of Glasto meet up? I have an idea for hiring out a mahoosive cottage that sleeps as many as possible the weekend after this year's T Day potentially...October obviously!

Has been discussed as an idea for a couple of years but this year...methinks something could be pulled off proper.

It was lovely to see old faces and meet the new ones and I hope all were made to feel very welcome.

Next year is going to be even more epic and you know it!!! And efforts will be made to make sure none miss a thing...although Efests doesnt control the traffic...but if they did then the M5 wouldnt get shut!!!

I'd like to echo everybodies sentiments on here.....made it so much easier going on my own - felt included right away and enjoyed gaining the knowledge and experience of people woh have been before. I would definitely be up for a meet in October.

Had lots of memorable times with lots of you very friendly guys and girls (of all ages and backgrounds) who were up for a good time at Glasto.

Really made my Festival. Great memories of up at the Stone Circle last night 2am before the rain. Quite magical !
