Wristbands and wiping your bum!

I'm right handed and made the mistake of being wristbanded on my right wrist, a major problem when pooing and wiping and avoiding the loose long bit hanging from my wristband.

Not so much of a problem if you're sober for 5 days but I wasn't, don't think I actually wiped with the loose bits but it was hassle!

Im just so much better than everyone else....lol.........when i first went in 2003 as a 16yr old, the first thing i thought when getting my wristband was, 'i'll go left handed as i wipe right handed, maybe just me or ray mears in the making. If you do make the skool boy/girl error then you can cut it then burn the frayed bits. come on people use your ray mears head!

I did this! Not due to newbieness, but to be being too distracted when I was going in the gates.

Anyway I remedied it by safety pinning the ends up. No bother.

i have always had my wristband on my left hand, but never though anything of it.

so when i get more I just add to the collection that i still have on.

it wasnt until i read this thread that i remembered the wristband guy at my first festival (download 2006) telling me this when I neively put out my right hand haha

im right handed but smartly gave them my left hand.

but she did it loose so slip off was easy peasy.

Glastonbury was my 11th festival and have to say I have never heard of this, had this problem or even thought of this. Very strange!
