2008 was my year for festival romance, that turned into a 6 month relationship, and some good loving.

2009 was less successful in that department, the closest I got was being leapt upon near the sacred space by a guy dressed as Howard Moon from The Mighty Boosh, with words that will remain with me for some time: "Soapy Titw*nk Sir?" - in a tone of voice that suggested he was just selling elbow patches. I think I set a new land speed record out of there.

Incidentally, is there a good place for tracking down the "I met you in a crowd when I was a bit wasted, but couldn't remember your email address" type of people? There were some lovely ladies, and some other very cool people that fall into that category, but I tend to meet most of them when "in cider"...

It was defiantely an interesting weekend for me and hoping to meet up with a couple of people I met. One in particular was working in the festival and we couldn't get a pen for love nor money for her to take my number and my battery was dead. Still, willl see what happens. I remember there was a website a couple of years ago which seemed to help people find those "lost" at festivals.

Funniest (or scariest) moment, depending on how you look at it was about 4am on Monday morning. I'm finally having some fun with someone in my tent when we hear the "zip" noise.... followed by her ex storming in and kicking off. Needless to say it kinda killed the moment and the fun!

I just don't wanna be back now! ;)

We dont discuss it...just blame Shangri La and Trash for not being open for kinda putting a huge dampener on any proceedings both Gay or Single!

Conga-ing to Trash and then receiving a text that began our rumour mill corner of Glasto was fun though...didnt beleive a thing...why would we have done?

Heyho! I had fun bimbling the site with my friends...no romance needed!

saying that, there were so many gorgeous guys around i'm a bit gutted i didn't talk to more. missed opportunities!

I had an incredibly romantic, loving & loved up Glastonbury. You all know Rabid & I met on efests & now I've moved from one end of the country to another to live with him, but it was his first time at Glastonbury.

We both enjoyed ourselves more than we could have imagined relishing every second together. I found myself falling more & more in love with him with every new shared experience. (Especially in that thunderstorm...... :D )

I already know he's the one for me & that was confirmed when it turned out that he was as keen as I was to get to Tom Jones in time, rather than being late for him while we waited for the Wedding Ceremony in Greenpeace. So, we exchanged rings & then spent the afternoon dancing in frocks & boas, in the sunshine. Singing our hearts out. We toasted ourselves with Burrowhill's finest & had some very special fudge for our cake! (Thanks for the fizzy wine Lucy).

Love was most definately in the air for me ;)

I hear you on that one. Me and the misses really did fall in love with each other again. She was a bit worried that going on our own wouldn't be as good as going in a group but we had so much fun with just each other. It felt like we were teenagers again just getting to know each other. It was fantasic and we're both gutted to be back to our normal busy lives.

We had planned on trying for a baby this year anyway but we got so excited with each other that we decided when we were there to start trying when we get home. Fingers crossed we have success soon!!
