pineapple-tea
So you saw one person in a cubicle.... as opposed to a peg-legged man. SCANDAL!
benissright
We were camped next to the three most beautiful girls in the festival. I never made a move...i would like to say it was because i have a girlfriend...
Lesley
I propose a solution which I think will resolve the problem for both of you. If you both accept you are unlikely to find the person you met, why not *pretend* that you met each other. After a few weeks, you probably won't remember the person you thought you met anyway. You know you share common interests of festivalling, and relationships have been built on less than that. Why not give it a try, love is blind or deluded or something. PogoMan fires yet another arrow of love into the world. I think I'll resolve the middle east crisis tomorow. Now where did I leave my chocolate cigars... radioheadchick1970
I hear you on that one. Me and the misses really did fall in love with each other again. She was a bit worried that going on our own wouldn't be as good as going in a group but we had so much fun with just each other. It felt like we were teenagers again just getting to know each other. It was fantasic and we're both gutted to be back to our normal busy lives. We had planned on trying for a baby this year anyway but we got so excited with each other that we decided when we were there to start trying when we get home. Fingers crossed we have success soon!! grandadcollective
An entire weekend away, all loved up with The Nurse. It doesn't get any more romantic.
sisterofmercy
I got back together with my boyfriend on the Friday night at Trash City, after watching drag queens prance around and pole dance, oh so romantic I know..

katie is searching for tom
2008 was my year for festival romance, that turned into a 6 month relationship, and some good loving. 2009 was less successful in that department, the closest I got was being leapt upon near the sacred space by a guy dressed as Howard Moon from The Mighty Boosh, with words that will remain with me for some time: "Soapy Titw*nk Sir?" - in a tone of voice that suggested he was just selling elbow patches. I think I set a new land speed record out of there. Incidentally, is there a good place for tracking down the "I met you in a crowd when I was a bit wasted, but couldn't remember your email address" type of people? There were some lovely ladies, and some other very cool people that fall into that category, but I tend to meet most of them when "in cider"... grandadcollective
i had that happen too! with a guy i only knew as tom - and i have tried everything to get in touch with him to no avail. give up now - there's always next year! excepct for me it was sambuca and cider
kyjenni
Hans, a beautiful man from the healing field. Helped me when I was in bits one day when I was upset about the kids who I couldn't bring down to the festival from the Praxistent site. Spent lots of time with him after he helped me and had an amazing night which was beautiful. I wasn't interested in men at all while I was there and following some lady health issues men were the last thing I was interested in! In all the craziness I didn't get his contact details and left before I could find him again but I know I'll find him again somewhere. I met thousands of people involved in the festival so I'm not too worried about not ever seeing him again, I think I know I will? If you know a Hans, blond hair, soft face who worked a crystal stall in the healing fields please let me know and I'll love you forever! xx
