Exit Fest - Currency?

I've been wondering this myself.

I've come to the conclusion that probably the best thing to do is take your card, and take money out as you need it.

You'll get a small charge for transactions abroad, but its not that much.

The camp site has a couple of cash machines.

If you have a nationwide account though, there's no charge for taking money out. - this is what i did last year, but im currently over drawn on that account so forced to use my lloyds card this year lol.

i used my nationwide card, proved very useful. I think they've changed it now so you have to pay 1% fee on withdrawls that are either: outside the EU/outside europe. so if it's the first option, you'll pay a fee, but not alot

some of my mates took travellers cheques. Ended up dragging us around various cities of the balkans trying to find 'official' offices that charged less commission.... whilt I laughed and took out a tenner whenever I damn well pleased

Card is good option, you have a lot of ATMs here. :)

but also, there are exchange offices on every corner.

you can exchange all of three, euros, dollars and pounds.

this is exchange list:

1euro - 93,50 dinars

1pound - 109,50 dinars

1dollar - 66,50 dinars

that's it. :)

if you have more questions, feel free to ask.
