The taxi driver who I got after the festival told me someone had died at the site, but it wasn't really reported. "The police said it was best left unsolved really."

Doing my best Miss Marple bit and adding 2 and 2 together (and possibly getting 5!) there is a story on here somewhere (Thieves one I think) where someone mentioned that a tent was slashed for a robbery and someone inside was cut. I would think it likely that this is the same person....

I hope they are OK.

My tent I lent to my friend and pitched next to my own was slashed twice. Fortunately he wasn't hurt and only lost £10.

A did meet a girl who was convinced a guy had died near her tent in the camping near Pyramid. This was the first couple of days.

I'd rather not say how I know, but I can tell you definitively that a man attempted suicide by slashing his own throat in Shangri-La that night- really, really horrible. He survived but is, obviously, not that well. As it was self-inflicted the police are not requesting any further information.

There was a guy fitting (worse than fitting actually he looked in so much pain it really shook me) on the thursday night before E17. I was half expecting to hear he had died, he was seriously f**ked.

Very similar thing happened last year too, self inflicted throat wound. Nasty business, must have been in a bad place to do that. Hope all is well

wow i knew it made it so you didn't feel pain-but i assumed it didn't make you do crazy things, the film i mentioned 'The Four Horsemen' it was used as the guy wanted to commit suicide so cuts his own chest open etc, but he seemed aware of what he was doing (yes i know it's a film)

OMG i saw a clip on utube once of a dude trippin on PCP and he was butt naked scratchin his arse down the road. took a good 5 mins b4 sum1 came out with a towel for him. i think he rubbed off his balls and arse!!!!!
