VCK
I was impressed with all three, and they put on performances which proved how worthy they were at the top of the bill. But Blur just stood out above every other band I saw that weekend. They were worth the wait from the moment I stepped out of the car in E1 on Wednesday evening to hearing Lot 105 played through the Pyramid Stage's PA. The one song I'd been waiting to hear at Glastonbury was The Universal, and they finished on it!
glastoman417
I'm a bit cheeky voting for Blur as I didn't see the other 2. But they were immense!
mynameisearl
Saw Bruce and Blur. Blur for me.
LRW
Ah shit - I cant believe I just did that - but I voted Blur over Neil!!!
VCK
Two minutes since this poll was made and already Blur have got five votes!
london_ajay
Hmm very NOT close. Bruce probably did cry (at 20,000 feet in his private jet) reading what Blur pulled off.
angelheaded hipster
No prizes for guessing who I went for (did seriously love NY though)

LostRiot
How can bruce be beating neil, I've just been ranting for the last 10 minutes about how bruce springsteen robbed me of near 3 hours of my life. neil young on the other hand was (apart from blur) the best pyramid stage headliner I've ever seen. Discoduck
Neil just about pips it, simply because I knew Blur would be awesome and althogh I've always loved NY I was not expecting him to come out and kill it the way he did. A true musical genius with masses of stage presence

gregor1984
All three were great, but Bruce is on another planet to anything else.
tylerdurden
Neil Young just shit over everyone. Didn't see Blur though, pretty gutted judging by what I've heard
Saturday Boy
I went to all 3 headliners (a first in 7 years). Neil Young was my favourite (but I was a huge fan already). I gave Bruce an hour and left wondering what all the fuss was about. I didn't really want to see Blur, just because it was the 3rd night in a row at the Pyramid but I was so glad I did. I even enjoyed "Tender" and I hate that song.
Phil_S
Nothing will ever cap Roger Walters in 2002 for me as a performance (Except a Floyd reunion next year ), but I have to say that despite not being a fan before hand Neil Young really did the business. I enjoyed the other two but certainly in the case of BS that was because I was well hammered !
lovestospoon
I only saw Bruce and Blur but Blur MASSIVELY eclipsed Bruce.
future_shock
Blur were by far the best headliner I've seen at any festival. I wish I could go back and do it all again.
Phil_S
Maybe because I was stood further back for the Blur perforamnce, but it didn't match upto the Verve last year (IMHO). Probably just reflects my taste in music though
nolovelostt
Blur, were by far the best act i've seen in a while, forgot how many amazing songs they have !
howard the oryx
I'm bumping this thread for the benefit of the under-represented Neil Young voters, who I reckon like myself will only just have come back down to earth after THE BEST GLASTO PERFORMANCE EVER , and therefore give them the chance to vote. Bruce was awesome too, Blur were a serious disappointment to me (I left half way through to watch The Prodigy,so perhaps I missed something?), not half as good as in 98, but I guess about half the audience watching them this year were too young to see them first time around so I'll let them off.
