New album out next year and a Greatest Hits out later this year could V be booking up the princess of pop for 2010 15th anniversary?

She last played in 2001 and she absolutely packed out the JJB that they wouldn't let anymore people in

Would V be able to get her to play and would you like her there

IMO she's too big to play the tent now, but maybe not cool enough to headline main stage so a bit lower on Main or headline 4music

After the outrage at the increasing pop acts on the bill I thought I'd ask this cus its quite possible really so....

Would you like her to be there?

Thats what I put too, seems pretty realistic

Maybe Pixies too, but having done IOW this summer and then a bunch of London dates in October I dunno if they'll be around again next summer

Radiohead will be doing Glasto if they do any next year

Im doing fantasy V line ups again...

how about this?

V STAGE

Coldplay---------------------Kings of Leon

Kylie-------------------------Arcade Fire

Scissor Sisters--------------The Fratellis

Editors-----------------------Doves

4MUSIC

Faithless---------------------Bloc Party

Klaxons----------------------White Lies

THE ARENA

Sigur Ros--------------------Gorillaz

I was thinking realistically to be honest

Bloc Party, Doves and Editors all have new albums out and are due a visit to V

Kings of Leon, Coldplay, The Fratellis, Faithless, Klaxons, Sigur Ros, Gorillaz, Kylie, Arcade Fire all have new albums out in 2010

Not sure if Scissor Sisters have new material coming out but they seemed a good act to play before Kylie IMO, and would go down well, Im pretty sure they will have a new album out next year though

Im also thinking Glasvegas & Bat for Lashes will be on the bill

plus a bunch of pop stuff, Girls Aloud have a new album out in 2010 I think

oh and on Blur, Im not sure they're gunna be around next year

Faithless aren't big enough to headline V IMO, Yes they're a huge dance act but look where The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and Chemical Brothers play at V, headline second stage, last but one main or headline JJB, I don't put Faithless higher than those acts

Whats the last big hit single Faithless have had? They would have to have a couple of monster hits like The Prodigy did back in 1998 when they last headlined

I also could never see Bat For Lashes so high on the main stage, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs seem to only tour the UK for a year at a time then have a couple of years off, and they've playeed Reading and Glasto this year, Id love to see them on the V line up though, they looked awesome at Glasto

Where did you hear Green Day are in the UK next year? They don't have any tour dates for 2010 at the moment. I'd love them to be over here next year as they're on of my favourite bands but I don't want to get my hopes up.

As for kylie for next year, not really my cup of tea but at least I would be able to sing along to her songs. She's been around long enough to earn a place
