How's this thing going to be run

Don't suppose anyone's heard anything on the official site or anywhere else about the way this thing's going to be run?

I joined the official forums to ask about whether fires were going to be allowed, and to express my disappointment in an uncharicteristically constructive way when the answer was that all fires are going to be banned. Based on the "you're not arse licking the organisers, get off our site" attitude, I won't be returning to the forums, even though there are questions I would like to ask.

But that massive gripe aside, are they going to check wristbands when you leave the arena? Is Bohemia going to be in the arena? Will there be the sort of back-of-a-lorry traders you get at Reading, or will it be like more remote festivals where you have to go to a supermarket miles away/ pay £3 for a warm pint in a plastic cup to satisfy your alcoholic needs?

What are you talking about, you asked a question it got answered, nobody was rude to you in any way. I saw the thread.

http://www.sonisphereforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=887

Please point to me, in that thread, where your question wasnt answered (infact it was answered for the OP before you even posted!), and please point out in that thread where the "arse-licking attitude" is? I dont know why people even bothered helping you if you are going to act like a complete dick about it...

Fair enough, im not looking for an argument either, i've done enough of that on these boards over the past few months ;)

Glad I could have helped anyways.

And Seriously, I dont work for sonisphere, I wish I did as it would be far more interesting than my current job, but alas it isnt the case :P

The FAQ seems to be a lot more extensive now. Pretty extensive read considering it's a first time festival (and that's a good thing).

Seems like it'll be BYOB for the campsite though. £3.50 a pint in the arena is reasonable enough (well, I begrudge paying it, but that's the going rate at festivals), but apparently crates of lager will cost £30 onsite.
