Psychiatric Explorations
I absolutely adored the fact there wasn't too much I wanted to see at Rockness and even though it may sound quite strange, I hope this continues. My suggestions won't add too much to the mix: The usual Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Justice conundrum. As for the Friday, Jim King and the rest of the organisers have set themselves up with the impossible task of replicating or bettering it; The Flaming Lips are truly the most unique, special band to headline a self-coined more alternative day. Window Licker
Personally I'd go for... Friday: Deadmau5 in the Clash Arena, Faithless on Main Stage Saturday: Royksopp in the Clash Arena (seeing them soon at EP ), Underworld on Main Stage Sunday: Portishead/Tricky/Massive Attack in the Clash Arena, Daft Punk on Main Stage Also welcome Unkle, DJ Shadow, Aphex Twin, Autechre and Squarepusher. Would be f**kin sweet if they could get a Warp Records Tent going though, I would happily donate organs in order to see Boards Of Canada play, I've heard they very rarely make any type of live appearance though.... ever, shame
Hebn2themix
Friday: 2 MANY DJs (to realy get the party started!) Saturday: Pendulem (live set) CLASH TENT Justice MAIN STAGE Sunday: Faithless CLASH TENT Daft Punk MAIN STAGE
rexclark
I would say there is probably a good chance Justice will play next year considering they're so popular and haven't played before. The only reasons I could think they wouldn't play would be, 1.) Theyr'e not touring 2.) T In The Park get there claws in first.
Kyelo
Why's everybody saying Justice? I love Justice but they are miles, I mean lightyears from being big enough to headline the main or clash stage. Their album never even got into the top 40 ffs! Somewhere further down, you need acts that appeal to a mainstream crowd also for ticket sales etc. Edited July 7, 2009 by BenchBuddah

Kyelo
Everyone seems to want them to play this year, so i think it would be smart to have them headline. Maybe not the mainstage, but the clash tent would be good for them IMO. I aint too sure about a few folk saying pendulum(live or dj set), That would be a mistake. Kowalski
Why are folk suggesting big dance acts should be up against each other? e.g. Faithless and Daft Punk to both headline at the same time? No thanks.

weesteve
Pendulum were the act of the weekend for me at Glasto, and that's after seeing them being pretty poor in a tent.. outdoor stage is far better for them

babsy1983
Remember when Jim King said on the Q and A, they will be looking at who has albums coming out in the autumn etc, they will take things from there, so lets see who has albums coming out this year and start guessing!! Eh Ah Ken
The only other factor is the fact that if they don't have a new album by next year interest will probably have faded.
Pengers
Fatboy Slim will be back I imagine. Hopefully get Faithless, Justice, and MGMT. Kasabian on the Sunday would excellent to close it. Daft Punk will be 2011.

rachbon
i think justice are big enough to headline the clash tent. but the perfect slot for them would be second top on the main stage, with daft punk headlining.
