they were good. not absolutely brilliant, but exactly what i expected, a good fun gig with mass singalongs. my highlights were roll with it, half the world away and liam gallaghers ego... " this ones for the real sky blues... mcfc" resulting in huge boo's from the crowd and me laughing for a few minutes. he also said towards the end "cheers coventry, you've been good, but we've been better".... also, how the hell does he balance that tambourine on his head for so long? they will be good at v, but not for people who have already seen them, there setlist hasent changed for the whole of the tour!

in summary, everything you'de expect, not bad, not brilliant, just good, and an amazing singalong (noel handing the chorus of dont look back in anger to the crowd is brilliant)

he quipped the exact same one liner at rock werchter. Still love them tho, was great getting to see them without the shit that comes along with it in the uk, even if it meant that everyone was still and i seemed to be the only one singing, quite a surreal experience considering it's oasis.

I think Oasis are brilliant, although I think I've gona a bit over the top with seeing them this year:

2005 - Manchester

2008 - Sheffield

2009 - Cardiff

And coming up over the next few weeks:

2009 - Wembley

2009 - Melt! Germany

2009 - V Festival

The Enemy put everyone to shame when I went to Heaton Park, Twisted Wheel are f**king fantastic, don't think Oasis were that great, the we're good, but not great.

Yeah man, top gig. But where was all the piss??? It took a while to get the piss throwing going, and there was nowhere near enough of it! I probably got hit by 3 or 4 full pots of piss, a bit disappointing really. The only consellation was that I got showered by about 10-15 bottles of piss spinning through the air. I was really looking forward to going home drenched in the stuff. I think the organisers need to start dropping the price of the beer a bit, they will then obviously sell loads more and people will be pissing more. Someone had used their brain a bit at this gig and a few lads pissed in a bag and threw it, it was a spectacular sight, and the piss must have soaked about 20 or more lucky revellers.

They've had their fair share of sound problems on this tour. Seems odd such a big, experienced band can encounter so many problems.

They'll probably be good at V, but they're a very uninspiring headliner. Anyone who wanted to see them could have seen them at least twice by now.
