Belladrum first timer

Hi

just wondering is anyone could give me a bit of advice on timings etc? Have been to festivals before but not Belladrum... thinking about skipping the thursday night and coming down to camp early friday morning. what time does the music kick off on the friday? dont want to miss anything but cant come down on the thurs night

ive not been before, but its a ceiledh on the thurs, i think the campsite closes at 12 on the thurs nite, on the fri it opens at 9ish. Stuff doesnt kick off til about 12ish, other forum users please correct me if im wrong. me and my mates are goin to be there early on the friday morning so we will only miss the ceiledh. aparently they put the times of the bands etc on the site before hand.

Thursday night is great. It's even more chilled than the rest of the weekend, which is saying something

think il go on the thurs now, at least i can get the mammoth tent set up and get a decent spot before the gazebos arrive :-)

Never been on the Thursday. Mainly cuz I didn't know about the Celticy party and don't camp. You'll love the main fest though. Good bands,good crowds and great amosphere all day, every day!

We'll be pitching tents (and gazeebo!) on the Thursday night but not staying - my folks live locally - then turning up for realy 11.30 ish on Friday.
