luckysalt
Right im not a big fan, but the first album was ok Anyway Ive never seen them and I was thinking I might check them out this year if theres no clashes And now Ive just read about Skinner's set at TITP he said that their next album is the last and these will be the final shows as the Streets, no doubt they'll do a final tour, but this could be one of the last times you can see the Streets so heres the setlist from TITP 'Let's Push Things Forward' 'Fit But You Know It' 'The Escapist' 'Everything Is Borrowed' 'Turn The Page' 'Don't Mug Yourself' 'Where My Heart Has Been' 'Weak Become Heroes' 'Never Went To Church' 'On The Edge Of A Cliff' 'Heaven For The Weather' 'Dry Your Eyes' 'In The Middle' 'It's Too Late' 'Blinded By The Lights' Its not bad heres the NME story http://www.nme.com/news/the-streets/46039
Carpetburn
I was thinking along the same lines; didn't mind the first album and have recently bought the latest one on the strength of The Escapist (which I think is the best thing he's ever done) and Everything is Borrowed. rhysieg
i really love the streets. the first album was amazing. im going to watch mike skinner, i like the new(est) album and on the edge of a cliff is one of my favourite tracks on it, the lyrics are really deep, im glad its in the set. but last few gigs has it come to this? (see what i did there ) but in all seriousness has it come to this is his best tune by a mile and a right banger. EDIT: has it come to this isnt in the set ! Pierce1991
Big fan of the streets, first time seeing them and cant wait. Personally I thot the 2nd album was better then the first. Altho the first is very good I always found it a bit too depressing. Didnt mind the third record but 'on the edge of a cliff' was the only track i really enjoyed of the latest album. Flaminglippy
AS IF BY MAGIC!!!! Boy stuck in dryer A Shropshire boy nearly got in a spin when he became wedged in a tumble dryer. Two fire crews from Wellington attended the incident in High Street, Wellington, on Saturday, at about 4.15pm. They spent minutes freeing the three-and-a-half-year-old boy, who has not been named. Ian Leigh, watch manager from Wellington, said: “He was fine and shortly afterwards was outside with us having a look at the fire engin
GuffGuy
See, I'm old school...fire engines should only be sent out for fires...not little kids who climb into washing machines and who then manage to shut the door on themselves...they should have another 999 service called 'Stupidity Engines', or, even better. 'Natural Selection Prevention Engines' that are sent out on such occasions...cats up trees...leave them there...they'll either get down on their own or evolution will kick in and they will grow wings and glide down... PS Yeah...like the Streets...although my mate refers to them as sounding like 'a chav talking over a ringtone'
