I must be the only person that hates Pendulum! I would hate it if they headlined Rock Ness!

In fact it wouldn't matter what time they were on at, I'd still hate it!!! :D

You're not. I liked Hold Your Colour, but the new album is utter crap. I've seen them twice, once when they were touring their first album, and then once again after they released this new album.

First show was awesome. During the more recent show, a mate turned to me, pointed at the crowd of pint-throwing-glowstick-waving-shirtless-morons and said "This is what happens when your shit gets played on radio 1". he had a very good point, went right off them after that. Maybe i'm a snob but when a band start putting out gash material, its turns me off their old stuff - Foo Fighters did this aswell.

Somewhere like coloursfest or fantazia, absolutely nothing wrong with it, its part of the scene and its what a lot of people who listen to hard house / trance will do, not my thing but they love it.

My point was that Pendulum were an almost credible drum & bass act before In Silico was released, then they hit the radio and became a crossover band who suddenly appealed to everyone. In my eyes, they lost a bit of their DnB cred when that happened.

A federal jury Thursday found a 32-year-old Minnesota woman guilty of illegally downloading music from the Internet and fined her $80,000 each -- a total of $1.9 million -- for 24 songs.

Jammie Thomas-Rasset's case was the first such copyright infringement case to go to trial in the United States, her attorney said. world of warcraft gold

Attorney Joe Sibley said that his client was shocked at the fine, noting that the price tag on the songs she downloaded was 99 cents.

She plans to appeal, he said.

Cara Duckworth, a spokeswoman for the Recording Industry Association of America, said the association was "pleased that the jury agreed with the evidence and found the defendant liable."

"We appreciate the jury's service and that they take this as seriously as we do," she said.

Thomas-Rasset downloaded work by artists such as No Doubt, Linkin Park, Gloria Estefan and Sheryl Crow.

This was the second trial for Thomas-Rasset. The judge ordered a retrial in 2007 after there was an error in the wording of jury instructions.

The fines jumped considerably from the first trial, which granted just $220,000 to the recording companies.

Thomas-Rasset is married with four children and works for an Indian tribe in Minnesota.

I'd be seriously unipressed if pendulum headlined next year. I've seen them 3 times now and the first 2 (last year once before and once after In Silco) were excellent. T in the Park this year was completely uninspiring. They sounded more like a shit metal band than Drum n Bass.

Wouldn't surprise me if it happened though, a huuuuge amount of people still do like them and they'd pull a massive crowd.

They never did a dj set last year, they had to cancel. I went down thinking it was Pendulum as well, enjoyed the set then found out it wasn't even them that were djing.
