Rain mac

Where can I buy one of those really thin plastic rain macs. They're not a proper mac, just like a plastic sheet with arm holes and a hood or something. There's a couple of people wearing them on the V Festival homepage. Is there anywhere I can get them online as I doubt there's a shop near me that would have them.

Thanks.

^Thanks, but my local branch, now a 99p shop don't do them. Hopefully I won't need one anyway. But I was thinking it also might protect me from strange liquids??? being thrown too, especially as I want to be down the front.

I assume there is a high possibility in being drenched in a variety of liquids yes?

And first rule for being down the front and being hit by foreign liquids is NEVER SMELL!!

i saw oasis last week at wembley and a hell of a lot of liquids were being thrown about i avoided them all luckily!

if you going to get into the thick of it at the main stage def protect yourself..lol

I haven't found the music tents have that problem and it never seems that bad at the channel4/ 4 music stage either.

There good for the women though who want to piss a bit discreetly in a pint cup or whatever as my mate did last year! ..lol

Decathon sell excellent 100% waterproof tiny pocket sized macs that cost £6-7 and are really light. I used one at Glasto and will definately be taking it to V

I am really hoping for a dry V this year, but am fully prepared if it is wet.

I have a whole variety of waterproof clothing... What a geek!!!

I have

  • waterproof jacket and trousers

    showerproof foldaway jacket

heavy duty army poncho bought at V last year (never ger wet wearing it and good for smuggling booze)

    wellies

    walking boots

Any combination of the above is going to help me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't need it. I'm not bothered about baking hot sunshine, just a dry weekend would be nice!

the loo's in the arena are ok if u can hold it in until then u won't need to use the campsite ones! and last year there was always loo roll in the arena ones!

and i buy cheap primark £4 pump type shoes and use them to go backwars and forwards to the loo on the campsite, i leave them in the porch bit of the tent and then when i'm done after the festival i sling them in the bin on my way out..lol
