Or infact can I do this? Will it void my warranty? Cheers Marc

tHomBleached
I found the "appsync" program did the trick for me, you can then drag and drop and sync apps via itunes

marc_hackett
that pretty much nails it I found the "appsync" program did the trick for me, you can then drag and drop and sync apps via itunes but not if you do a complete DFU restore beforehand, which is what I did. and I had to send my phone back to apple because I had antenna problems. omskus
Best application - mine! Ok so its not the best application but I have written an app. I know its kinda against board etiquette but hey I'm up for a bit of shameless self promotion (well I do have a decent post count). Its called Breakfast http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/breakfast/id372220400?mt=8 and its a breakfast recipe app. Basically a collection of recipes I have written that will help you prepare a nice/special breakfast. Its £0.59 (or if you have a US itunes account pm me and I'll send you a free code if you have a decent post count - I don't know why they don't give me free UK promo codes). If you do buy it/I give you a code I'd be grateful of a review/rating.
PeterD
The best satnav I found for me it is Copilot, found it better than tom tom etc. Essential apps shazam national rail enquiries pano dragon dictation It may also have been mentioned in this thread but o2 will unlock your iphone free of charge via their website, I did this as I am off to the states in September and wanted a US sim. https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&a...nlocking%20Form
dan666
Dragon Dictation will never work with me propely! Even when im wearing the hands free. Just download Chaos Rings today *free of course* it is excellent! Deffo would recommend it, however it drains your battery!

Gre
I've got one that's just called 'South Africa' - was in the top 25 free downloads a few days ago. Pretty much the same thing I think, possibly a little more basic.
t8yman
I urge any iphone user to download and install "epic citadel" from the app store. Its a tech demo of the new unreal engine for iphone, and its f**king impressive. gamers in particular will be very impressed. I imagine it looks even sweeter on the retina display of the iphone 4, but even on my 3gs it looks beautiful.

t8yman
anyways, just incase iphone owners havent seen my post in the photography thread, check out Pro HDR from the app store. If you know what HDR photography is, you will love it. If you dont, look it up - and then you will love it. Best £1.19 app I have ever bought. omskus
Just released Scrambleface a new Innovative puzzle game for iPhone and new iPod touch. It takes the camera feed and turns it into real time live action sliding puzzle levels. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scrambleface/id394830799?mt=8 Honestly it's pretty cool! I can provide free codes or regular posters on here - pm me! (you do need a US iTunes account to use the free codes. If you don't have one I can tell you how)
