My app Scrambleface scored the Appvent Calendar 2010 slot for Wednesday 8th December. This means its free for everyone to download. Its a really cool concept - I reckon quite a few of you guys will like it.

Please download it, leave a review if you like it, tell your friends, Twitter, Facebook, blog, everything! Every other app that has participated in the appvent calendar promotion has charted really well I'm obviously hoping this will have a similar effect for Scrambleface -

Sleeptalk is f**king brilliant. You leave your phone on your bedside table, and the slightest noise triggers it to start recording. much snoring, farting and nighttime jabbering ensues.

you can tag particular "episodes" as favourites and upload them to a share, where they get rated by others, and there are some f**king belters. one of some girl shouting at her snoring bloke "will you please shut the f**k up, youve been doing it all night" - he replies "f**k off" and starts snoring again. and some amazing jabbering.

My best one of my own was last week when I let out an almighty guff, and the the missus can be heard very clearly saying "jesus christ" with a level of disdain rarely heard anywhere.

Question for people who know about these things. I have an iPhone 3G (not 3GS) which is now 2 and a half years old and on it's last legs - battery not holding charge, turns itself off randomly, etc. The problem is I'm still on an unlimited data contract that only costs me £20/month. Is there any way whatsoever I can transfer this contract to an iPhone4, as I really can't justify the cost of the newer contracts whilst I'm on maternity leave! Have also heard whisper of iPhone 5 in June so maybe should try and hold out until then and see what deals are on offer.

Its one new iphone a year. Generally the specifications only get a massive bump every second year. Its usually worth joining when they bring a new model - the one the following year (so this year) will normally only be a small revision.
