"Phoenix have regretfully had to cancel their festival appearances for 2009 citing personal reasons. We will let you know who will fill their slot on the Virgin Media Union very soon and we wish Phoenix all the very best!"

It sucks but they were playing directly under Pete Doherty on the Union so they would be clashing with Calvin Harris who Id have seen

I wonder who will be the replacement? hmmmm seen as its so close and its a high slot, could be someone from Reading and Leeds maybe?

Last tim4e this happened, Nine Black Alps [who were playing R+L] were allowed to play V when 22-20s split up, and take their place on the Union
