pixiepoo
We are going to creamfields this year for the first time. We are camping for the weekend. We dont have hospitality. Just wondering how safe it is? Was all excited to go and then heard from a few people that its quite rough and advised us not to camp there and as the campsite was quite rowdy and things got stolen from tents and thrown around. is this generally the case? Would upgrading to hospitality be better and safer (not sure whether the money is worth it though). Some people have said it is much better to stay in a local hotel but these have now sold out. Any tips/opinions would be most grateful! Cheers!
theleedslads
I have been told its a bit rough too. Did Global & Glastonbury last year, and both had a great atmosphere with no trouble. Used to go to Leeds Festival all the time, but until having being to Glastonbury i didnt realise how rough it actually was! T In the Park was pretty rough too, but not as bad as Leeds. Looking forward to this though, although whats with all the stupid rules?! think ive been spoiled by too many Glastos!

Delboy71
Can't really speak for the campsite as we stay in a hotel but the Arena is as safe as can be expected. There are a few scallies/chavs about but you'll find them anywhere you go nowadays. Just use common sense and you'll be fine. This will be my 9th Creamfields and i've never really had any problems. We do go Hospitality and think it's well worth it. I reckon with the way the Met Office have just changed their prediction for August weather that we'll be well glad we do!! msr
I didnt see any trouble last year that I remember. There are always those that will make trouble for themselves but if you're just there for a good time then I'm sure you'll be fine. Make friends with people camping around you and ask them to watch your tent when you're away and do the same for them.
D@Z
Didn't see any trouble last year, although you have to remember that it is a festival after all so the campsite will be rowdy all night - don't be expecting a good night's kip! Everyone was cool in the campsite last year (although they were all mental!) but did see a group of young lasses heading off early because the people next to them wrecked their tent.
