people.....we are pleased to announce we're playing a low key show at this year's leeds festival. we'll be headlining the dance to the radio stage a day early, on thursday 27th august, so all you super keen camper types who like to get in there and get yr spot in the mud dead early will be able to see us. it's also our only english festival appearance this year. we'll be getting in and out before anyone sets fire to the toilets.

peace.

brs xx

Bit gutted as i'm going reading but i'd thought people would want to know.

pendulum dj set sounds alright, although i've seen them do it before at the local scuzzhole, wasn't mind blowing :)

not bowled over by blood red shoes, would've thought they'd have tried to get an act of the same calibre as pidgeon detectives (not a fan, but they were a big band to be playing on the thursday), pendulum would be much bigger obviously, but a dj set isn't the same as a live set

Leeds always gets an extra band on the Thursday with the Dance To The Radio label being local. Last year it was a not so secret show by The Pigeon Detectives.

Good news about Pendulum as well, not a big fan of the band but they're DJ set should be good.

It certainly felt like that on my chest. Two people next to me both passed out and had to be dragged out by the security. I had an huge bruise across my chest, and I wasnt that fussed on seeing them I was just curious.

Must say from what Ive heard of these so far Ill be having a wonder down.

lol, Me and a m8 went to go and see the pigeon detectives last year, but ended up standing in the wrong tent, nme radio1 tent. It was a little funny tho as two streakers jumped the cordened off bit (to keep the grass good for the following day) fence, with three security guards in tow, it was quite a laugh :-)

What stage did the pigeons play on last year, will the blood red shoes be on the same stage this year? I took a look at them last year on the nme/radio 1 stage and was pretty impressed at what I saw.

Damn, wish they were at Reading too, they were awesome last year.

Ah well.

Out of interest why does Reading do nothing on the thursday? Don't get me wrong I love having the thursday to just get your bearings, chill out in the day time, and then party at night, but it'd still be cool to have something similar.
