Hairywookie
Just received my tickets this morning and they look shit! I could have knocked a better design out on microsoft publisher!!! Looking back to my first years the tickets were glossy with photos on them and had interesting designs and gradually they have become duller culminating in this years ticket! I know the tickets appearence is of little relevance but one wonders if V's apparant cut backs have even spread to the graphic designers payed to create the tickets. This years ticket in my opinion is the embodiment of the festival itself... Like the ticket design, the quality of the acts has diminished over the years...surely V arent that hard up?? Then I see that Leeds/Reading festival is to end in a firework display! They get three days for a similar price with better/more prominant acts AND a firework display... why is V becoming so stingy!? The Cat Burglar
Is this really a moan about the look of the tickets? Personally I couldn't give an arse what they look like as long as they get me in.

cabstar
Leeds are not having a firework display, but an organised bonfire in the hope that that will stop idiots starting their own on Sunday night with gas cylinders, which have been banned by the way... Flaminglippy
I think you're confusing 'stingyness' and 'greed'! They must be raking in an absolute packet compared to other festivals. OK, they're reported to pay the headliners a lot more money, but that will be partially off-set by them having a days less music to pay for. Plus they normally have sponsors falling out of every orifice...
brfcstar
Does it really matter what the bloody tickets look like
Hairywookie
lol not the point i was trying to make, just thought that was a good analogy for how the festival has declined as a whole
