is it me or is lily allen a total legend? and an inspiration?

when she first came out I just dismissed her as another wanabee and got where she has due to her dad.

but I cant believe how good her new album really is. her lyrics actully mean something and I can see her bein a big inspiration mainly to women.

watching her on mtvHD(cough cough new hd tv yesterday), she looks really good live and gets the crowd going and can actully sing.

ok maybe a legend is a bit to much, but htat women got more talent in her littlle finger than liam

I have a sneaking liking for her music but must admit when I saw her at V two years ago, she really irritated me. She talked far too much and then, the final nail in the coffin, made fun of the band who were on after her - Manic Street Preachers. I just thought "who the hell are you to slag someone off who has been around far longer than you" - she'd only had one album so I just thought she seemed arrogant. I might be prepared to give her another chance - I firmly believe you don't have to like someone personally to like their music!

She has a great personality and hasn't quite gone off the rails which is always a bonus. Plus she's the one behind The Specials reunion!

First album was a stinker, but the second is a belter. 22 being my favourite, even if it does rip off It Must Be Love by Madness a bit!

I think at times she talks without thinking, but i like her music, its the type of music that i can very gladly sing along to, terribly given, but loudly and i enjoy it

Plus i kinda have a girl crush on her lol

Not sure that she even "got the band back together". I understood that deal to have been brokered by Crystal Palace chairman Simon Joran. Sure he presented a show on Talksport once and interviewed Lynval about the band and how the reunion was down to him (or his money at least)
