How much money do I take?

It depends on how much booze you drink really.

I eat f**k all, but I drink alot, so most of my money goes on booze, and at the prices at festivals that's money that can go really quickly.

im taking £100 plus a few bags of crisps and the like and 45 beers i reckon that should be enough, works out at £25 a day which isnt to bad, the only thing im worried about is my belly being bigger than my wallet

Unless they brought in free machines last year when I didn't go, then the charges are a rip off on the on site machines. Please please just walk to the cash points in town. Left out of the festival site, than over the bridge into town. It only takes around 20 minutes one morning to nip up there, and your not robbed by those ridiculous fees on the cash machines.

As for how much money? It's the how long is a piece of string scenario. I've done the festival on £40/50 before (take cheap food, keep your drinking to limited intervals) etc. This year however, I'm kinda flush. I've been on nearly £300 a week or so for a while, so money isn't an issue. I guess I'll just buy what I need.

First year I took £100 but over the years I've found I need less and less because I'm taking more and spending on less, so this year I will probably take about £50 and a card just in case.

I'll be taking about £200-ish myself to Reading.

£40 a day over the 5 days i'm there should be enough for me. If not i'll take a walk to the town center to the barclays cashpoint over the bridge for more if need be!...

it's easy to do it on the cheap. the least i've spent at a festival is £17 and the most i've spent is about £150.

i'd like to take about £200 to leeds but i'll probably only take about £150.
